Frigg is the foremost of the Asynjar. Then follow Saga, Eir, Gefjun, Fulla, Freyja, Sjofn, Lofn, Var, Vor, Syn, Hlin, Snotra, and Gna. Sol and Bil are also counted among the goddesses.

Frigg is the foremost. She owns the estate called Fensalir and lives there in great splendour. The second is called Saga and is a powerful being. Eir is the finest physician. Gefjun is a maiden, and women who die unmarried serve her. Fulla is also a maiden and keeps Frigg's shoes. Freyja is equally honoured as Frigg. She wept tears of gold when Óðr departed. Sjofn turns people's minds toward love. Lofn is gentle and good to invoke. Var hearkens to oaths. Vor is wise. Syn guards doorways. Hlin protects. Snotra is prudent and courteous. Gna is Frigg's messenger. Sol and Bil are counted among the Asynjar.
