Óðinn reaches the Mälar lake and settles at the place that becomes Sigtuna. He establishes laws and customs for the land.
Óðinn fór norðr til þess lands er Svíþjóð heitir. Hann kom at þeim vatni er Löginn heitir. Þar reisti hann borg þá er Sigtúnir heitir. Hann skipti löndum með höfðingjum sínum ok setti lög eftir þeim sið sem átt hafði verið í Trójú.
Óðinn travelled north to the land called Sweden. He came to the lake called Löginn. There he raised the stronghold called Sigtuna. He divided the lands among his chieftains and established laws after the customs that had prevailed in Troy.
